The Department for Education has stated that ‘AI is here to stay’ and has recognised the positive impact it could have both on teacher workload and the ability to personalise resources to support pupils.
TeachMateAI are proud to have participated in the DfE’s recent collaborative workshops exploring the potential benefits and risks of generative AI in education. We take our responsibility very seriously to support you in this and on our hub page you can find links to a template AI policy that you can use in schools.
We do hear from some teachers that their school leadership teams are feeling resistant to embracing AI and we hope that these resources can support schools in becoming effective and responsible users of AI.
What can you do to support your school?
- If your teachers would benefit from training to become more confident then check out the training presentation on our hub
- Have a look at the template AI policy document – personalising this for your school is less daunting than creating one from scratch
- Encourage your staff to join the TeachMateAI Teachers Group for support and ideas from our network of teachers
- Attend one of our free webinars – we are here to help with what can seem a big change in mindset.
