Deloitte has provided 750 Teachmate licences to schools across England, Wales and Scotland with the aim of equipping more classrooms across the UK with innovative tools that enhance learning.
The initiative is designed to improve pupil outcomes and teacher wellbeing by giving schools access to Teachmate’s suite of 150+ AI-powered tools. These tools help reduce teacher workload, boost staff confidence in using technology safely and create more engaging and personalised learning experiences for pupils.
Faye Palmer and Karen Dillamore, who have been leading the rollout on behalf of Teachmate, worked closely with Deloitte to identify schools that would benefit most. From large secondary schools in Bradford to primaries in Swansea and council-wide support in Scotland, the programme is already making an impact in a range of contexts.
Making a difference where it’s needed most

The schools receiving licences all identified challenges that the use of Teachmate will support them with. By providing teachers with time-saving, trusted AI support, Deloitte and Teachmate are helping staff focus on what matters most: supporting pupils to thrive.
Kat Hawkyard, Assistant Headteacher at Immanuel College in Bradford, when asked about the rollout, said: “I am really excited to get stuck into using Teachmate, it is going to allow us to work smarter, ensuring the lessons we provide our students allow them to make the most progress and achieve the best possible results.”
Teachmate’s recent wellbeing survey found that 94% of teachers using the platform reported improved wellbeing and the majority are saving more than 10 hours per week on administrative tasks. Through Deloitte’s backing, these benefits will now reach even more educators across the UK.
A Message from Deloitte:
“At Deloitte, we are committed to supporting young people and the teachers who play such a vital role in shaping their futures. Supporting Teachmate to distribute more Teachmate licences allows us to make a tangible difference in schools that need it most – helping to reduce workload pressures, improve teacher wellbeing and ultimately give pupils the best possible chance to succeed.”

Looking ahead
The programme will run until 2026 with ongoing reviews and check-ins to measure impact, gather feedback from teachers and share case studies of success. By combining Deloitte’s commitment to social impact with Teachmate’s innovative platform, this initiative is set to deliver lasting change in schools across the UK.
As the programme develops, it will also provide valuable insights into how technology can continue to evolve in education. These learnings will not only support participating schools but also shape wider conversations about the future of teaching and learning.
